Project Description
The Meshtastic Mesh Integration via Reticulum is a key development by CIPRO Panama to unify radio networks. It is a pioneering and unique architectural project designed to interconnect isolated ecosystems using advanced cryptography and routing. It is currently in the BETA stage.
Key Features
- Coverage extension: We use the robust Reticulum network as a transport bridge (backbone) to extend and unify geographically separated Meshtastic meshes.
- Dedicated MQTT Server for Meshtastic: Dedicated infrastructure available via WEB and through the secure Reticulum network, ensuring total independence from third-party services.
- Quick access gateway: A Reticulum server specifically configured to allow integration into the mesh from the “internet”, becoming the fastest and most direct way for new users to link to the project’s main mesh no matter where they are.
Field Status
The system currently has 12 active test nodes in the province of Panama, recording a continuous uptime of over 1,200 hours in off-grid field tests.
